Malawi

Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world with over half its population still living below the poverty line.  Our work in Malawi has focused on providing hot cooked meals to school children and food parcels to some of the neediest families in the remote rural areas of Malawi.  The hope for humanity team visited Malawi in June 2018 and were able to oversee the construction of a number of boreholes and new homes for some of these families. Our work has also focused on providing goats and chickens to poor families which will provide a source of income and help them to become more economically empowered.
